Who doesn’t want to emulate rosie huntington’s flawless glow. I had seen some adverts for her new line with M&S and thought I would try it out. Once I had seen the rose gold packaging I was sold. Like most girls I will gladly accept any excuse to buy more makeup whether it’s needed or not ha. I picked up two of the lipsticks and one of the eyeshadow quads from the collection.
The lipsticks have a beautiful, buttery soft texture and apply seamlessly on the lips . At €19 a pop these lipsticks are only €1 less than Mac so not much cheaper than the higher end brands but very comparable in quality. I picked up two of the shades in ‘silk rose’ and ‘nude mink’ . Nude mink is a true peachy nude shade. Silk rose is a plumy/mauve shade . As for the eyeshadow quad if you are looking for a subtle, easy to wear look these palettes are for you. All of the shadows contain a slight shimmer, they are really easy to work with, blending easily. I achieved a really soft, smokey look without out much hard work. So while we may not all end up looking like Rosie we can at least try and achieve her perfectly executed makeup.

Finding old favourites like Mac Bronze eyeshadow. I forgot how gorgeous it was! I began with a transitional shade ‘peach smoothie’ from MakeupGeek. I applied MAC Bronze all over the mobile lid. I added MakeupGeek’s ‘Bada Bing‘ into the outer corner blending it out to add depth and give a smokiness to the look.
I blended MakeupGeek ‘Cocoa Bear’ onto my bottom lash with Bada Bing buffed from the outer corner to the centre. To highlight the inner corner and my brow bone I added thee QUEEN of highlighting ‘The Balm’s’ Mary Lou-manizer. Oh my GAWWWDDD this highlight is everything you can literally see it from Space.
I also found a new product that I have been loving recently . It’s the Revlon Colorstay Concealer in ‘Light’. I use it to highlight underneath my eyes. I love how it doesn’t sit in any lines and really brightens up under my eyes.
For my lips I applied another new purchase MAC’s Lipstick in midimauve supposedly a favourite of Kim K.

So this week I am introducing one of my favourite red lipsticks Mac’s Lady Danger . .It’s such a beautiful rich, blue-toned red which flatters most skin tones it’s especially gorgeous on darker skintones. The one tip I would give with picking a red lipstick is to see which one makes your smile shine the whitest. Yes if your teeth are looking more yellow than hollywood white then it isn’t the right red for you.
I kept the rest of my makeup quite simple with some cream bronzer to warm up my skin. I opted for a no mascara look . To sculpt my cheekbones i used the Tom Ford ‘Shade and Illuminate Kit’ in light . This is a great multifaceted product as it can used in so many ways , today I used it on my eyes and as a contour.
What’s your favourite red lipstick?
This is a little collaboration I did with my friend last week. We did this random shoot one afternoon I kept the styling and makeup very simple. View Post
